The dial pattern of SBGW264 pulls inspiration from the forest of silver birch trees near Studio Shizukuishi where Grand Seiko produces this watch and all of their mechanical timepieces. As the viewing angle changes, the dial shimmers in green and white, just as the trees do when summer light catches the leaves and the white bark of the trunks. The soft, natural feel of the watch is completed by the slim profile of the case, as well as the dial and hands, the latter given their curvature by hand. (Be sure to learn about hand-engraved SBGW263, inspired by the legend of Shizukuishi).
Sitting inside the 18k rose gold case is Caliber 9S64, a manual winding movement rated to +5 to -3 seconds per day with a power reserve of 72 hours.
SBGW264 is offered as a limited edition of 120 pieces.
