Reference SBGA211, otherwise known as the Snowflake, is perhaps one of Grand Seiko's best-known watches. Introduced in Japan in 2005 and globally in 2010, the Snowflake became an immediate hit, beloved for its unique dial that evokes the look of freshly fallen, lightly windswept snow. This mesmerizing effect gives the dial ample dimensionality and results in a truly unique timepiece. The blued steel second hand moves smoothly in a continuous gliding motion, a feature that is emblematic of Spring Drive, and the blue of the hand contrasts beautifully against the white of the dial. Powering the watch is Caliber 9R65. It's has a power reserve of 72 hours, which can be tracked via the indicator on the dial by 8 o’clock. The decorated caliber can be enjoyed through the exhibition case back. The case, measuring 41mm in diameter, and the bracelet are made with high-intensity titanium, which is 30% lighter than stainless steel while maintaining a high level of scratch and corrosion resistance.
